Police: Ga. man was growing pot at grandma's house

MACON, Ga. (AP) — Sheriff's deputies say a middle Georgia man was growing $210,000 worth of marijuana at his grandmother's house.

The Telegraph of Macon reports Bibb County sheriff's investigators at a news conference Friday displayed more than 100 pot plans seized from the home of the 80-year-old woman.

Her grandson, 34-year-old Scott E. Seymour Jr., has been arrested on charges of marijuana trafficking and other drug-related counts.

Bibb County Sheriff David Davis says Seymour is also charged with endangering an elderly person.

Deputies seized from the home sacks of hydroponic fertilizer, a shotgun and a book titled "Indoor Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor Bible."

It wasn't immediately known if Seymour had hired an attorney.
