West Avenue runs past the West Cinema and the U.S. Post Office. CSX Railroad is closing the West Avenue crossing beginning today for maintenance work, according to officials.
The work is expected to take two to three days, officials said. There will be posted detour signs, or motorists should plan an alternate route in advance.
