A man fled from police late Thursday night but was eventually caught and is now facing a long list of charges, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Christopher Doyle Jr., 51, of 50 Chateau Drive, S.E., Rome, was spotted driving on the wrong side of the road on Ga. 53.

He fled when police tried to stop him but was eventually stopped at the intersection of Ga. 53 and Bells Ferry Road.

Doyle is charged with misdemeanor driving on the wrong side of the road, misdemeanor reckless driving, misdemeanor open container in vehicle, felony fleeing or attempting to elude, misdemeanor DUI, misdemeanor failure to keep drugs in their original container, two counts of misdemeanor possession of drug related objects, felony sale, distribution or possession of dangerous drugs, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and felony aggravated assault on a police officer.

He remained in jail on Friday morning.
