This Lester cartoon was really a ‘dog’

MIKE LESTER’S cartoons are often offensive to me, but this one crossed the line from offensive to totally unacceptable.  I thought President Bush was one of the worst presi-dents America has ever had, but I would never have called him a “dog!” 

If Lester doesn’t like the person who holds the job, he should at least have some respect for the office of the presidency.

Also, Rome News-Tribune editors have some responsibility. When Lester crosses the line to the totally unacceptable, they should refuse to publish the cartoon.
