Kenneth Howard, a family practice physician at Harbin Clinic, has been elected by students at Morehouse School of Medicine to receive the 2009 Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society’s Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award.

This honor recognizes his contribution to the education and training of clinical students.

"It’s an honor to receive an award like this from students who have excelled academically," Howard said.

Howard received his award last week at Louis W. Sullivan National Center for Primary Care Auditorium on the Morehouse Campus. This year the award was presented by Eve J. Higginbotham, dean and senior vice president for Academic Affairs at Morehouse School of Medicine.
