The Rome Braves did something on Thursday night that they haven’t done in almost three months.

Complete a sweep.

The Braves also extended their winning streak to seven games, the longest of the season.

Everything was looking good going into the bottom of the ninth with Rome ahead 6-2, but the Hagerstown Suns used a grand slam from Chris Curran to tie the game and force extra innings. The Braves scored four runs in the 14th inning to secure the win.

Rome used another great offensive night from Adam Milligan to build the lead. Milligan went 4-for-7 with a home run, a triple and five RBIs.

Randall Delgado continued his exceptional pitching over the last month after tossing five innings and allowing one run (unearned) on three hits while striking out nine in a no decision. Delgado pitched seven innings of no-hit ball in his previous start last Friday.
