Rome woman jailed on forgery charges

A Rome woman was jailed without bail on forgery charges, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Melanie Tennille Pratt, 23, of 33 Atkins Drive, was charged with felony first-degree forgery and felony second-degree forgery.

According to arrest warrants, Pratt allegedly wrote checks using a stolen Citizens First bank account at several locations between the dates of July 19 to July 22.
