At the fair, area health care providers gave free testing and health resources for Shorter students. The pre-nursing students assisted with testing and triage.
Among the services offered were hepatitis vaccines, AIDS testing, eye exams, blood pressure measurements and diabetes screenings.
Freshman Kim Sullins worked at the fair and wants to be a labor and delivery nurse.
Ive always wanted to go into the nursing field, and today has been a great learning experience, she said
