Vince Harrison smacked his third homer in as many games to help propel the Charleston (S.C.) RiverDogs to a 7-2 victory over the Rome Braves at State Mutual Stadium Friday night.

Harrison’s homer, his 14th of the year, helped to chase Rome starter Blaine Boyer (3-7) after just 4 2-3 innings.

Boyer gave up six runs (four earned) before departing in the top of the fifth.

The Braves and RiverDogs continue their four-game set Saturday night at 7
