The subject of the documentary photography is the U.S. Marine Corps boot camp training at Parris Island, S.C., and it will coincide with local community Memorial Day celebrations.
Grote teaches photography at the Art Institute of Atlanta and completed four years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps as a combat photographer.
