Miss Jones is a 2004 graduate of Berry College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She was a member of Students in Free Enterprise and is employed at Universal Tax Systems in Rome.
The bride-elect is the sister of Bradley Jones of Silver Creek. She is the granddaughter of Sarah Cain and Claude Cain, both of Lindale, Othella Jones of Silver Creek, and the late Cecil Jones.
Whitaker attended Floyd College. He is a member of the Professional Golf Association and is employed at Coosa Country Club.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Hazel Whitaker, James Whitaker and Barbara Amspoker, all of Rome, and the late Guy Amspoker.
The private wedding is planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Frost Chapel, Berry College. A reception will follow at Coosa Country Club. Invitations will be sent
