Jessica Michelle Nelson and Michael Jeffrey Reynolds, both of Rome, announce their engagement. Miss Nelson is the daughter of Larry and Brenda Nelson of Rome. Reynolds is the son of Donnie and Debra Reynolds of Silver Creek.

Miss Nelson is a 1996 graduate of Pepperell High School and a 2004 graduate of Coosa Valley Technical College. She is employed at Floyd Medical Center.

The bride-elect is the sister of Jason Nelson of Silver Creek. She is the granddaughter of Jerry and Eunice Torkkola of Rome, the late Rufus and Harriett Nelson and the late Jesse Wendell Edwards.

Reynolds is a 1991 graduate of Pepperell High School. He is employed at Rome City Water and Sewer Department.

The groom-elect is the brother of Tim Reynolds of Silver Creek. He is the grandson of Sara Williams of Rome, the late Tom and Billie Reynolds and the late Virgil Hollingsworth.

The private wedding is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Oak Hill Church of Christ. A reception will follow. Invitations will be sent
