Bill and Frankie Reed of Jacksonville, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter Kelley Reed to Donald Cox III, son of Paulette Lee of Independence, Ky., and the late Donald Cox Jr.

Miss Reed is a 2004 cum laude graduate of Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts. She is employed at Caribbean Shipping Services and Jacksonville Services.

She is the sister of Allen Reed of Jacksonville and the granddaughter of Cindy Robertson of Carrollton, the late Richard Robertson, the late Jo Schwartz, the late Joe Reed, the late Betty Reed and Olivia Griffin of Rome.

Cox received his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1997 and an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy Reserves in 1999. He is currently enrolled in fire science training at Florida Community College in Jacksonville. He is employed at Security One Services in Jacksonville.

The groom-elect is the brother of Kimberly Cox Strawbridge of Indianapolis, Ind., Katie Cox Moore of Cleves, Ohio, and Doug Cox and Cody Reinhart, both of Independence. He is the grandson of Joanne Koester of Fayetteville, Ohio, the late Paul Koester, the late Thelma Koester, Margaret Cox of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the late Donald Cox.

The private ceremony is planned for Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Queen’s Harbour Yacht and Country Club. Invitations will be sent
