Polk County schools Superintendent Darrell Sorrells is expected to announce on Wednesday the employment status of two Cedartown High School cheerleading coaches placed on administrative leave last month during an investigation into alleged nude photographs of their team members.

The two women, special education teachers Amber Fuqua and Rhonda Lindsey, filed a federal lawsuit against Sorrells and the county’s school board on grounds they were unfairly suspended.

That lawsuit was dismissed from U.S. District Court in Rome last week.
