Robert Wynn Young, 30, of Cartersville was indicted on charges that he mailed a letter containing a white powdery substance addressed to Chambliss Washington office in June, about two weeks after a letter containing similar powder was received at the Atlanta office of the FBI, U.S. Attorney David E. Nahmias said Tuesday.

Young has been incarcerated in the Bartow County Jail since May 2004, and remains in custody.
We will have no tolerance for false threats of anthrax attacks or similar terrorism, which divert limited resources from protecting our citizens against the very real threats that exist, Nahmias said.
