Georgia Lottery Corporation announced today it will hold a check presentation ceremony for the largest Lotto South jackpot winner in the game’s history.

The winner, a resident of Rome, won a record-breaking $27 million jackpot on New Year’s Eve. The event will take place Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hwy. 411 Truck Stop, 145 Hwy. 411 S.E., where the ticket was sold.

Georgia Lottery President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco will present the winner and the retailer with oversized checks. The Truck Stop will receive a $25,000 retailer incentive bonus for selling the winning jackpot ticket.
