Three men were arrested early Friday after officers watched them steal a lawnmower valued at nearly $3,000, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Zachary Blake Teems, 21, of 115 N. Edenfield Ridge Drive, Rome; Cory Lee Teems, 28, of Aragon; and Randy Hilton Bordelon, 47, of 371 Marion Dairy Road, Lindale, were charged with felony theft by taking. Bordelon was in jail without bail Friday, while Cory and Zachary Teems were each released on $3,650 bail.

According to Rome and Floyd County police reports:

Officers saw the men pull into the parking lot of Sears at Mount Berry Square in an Isuzu Rodeo and a Chevrolet truck with a trailer. The men used bolt cutters to cut the chains securing many of the lawnmowers outside the store and pushed one of them onto the trailer. When officers approached, the men tried to flee and Zachery Teems was stunned with a Taser when he refused to put his hands behind his back.
