The CEDT program was designed for the state-level and
technical college personnel whose job responsibilities focused on business and industry training for the State's economic devel-opment. Hart received the certification in a graduation cere-mony held June 8 in Macon.
DTAE initiated this certification program in 1986, in response to the increasing importance of high quality workforce training for Georgia's business and industrial prospects. Presently, there are 112 active CEDTs in Georgia.
