The Rome Symphony Orchestra will perform its 85th anniversary Celebration Concert on March 31. The concert will be performed at the City Auditorium. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. The RSO will be performing Weber’s Die Freischutz, which was played at the first RSO concert on May 21, 1921; and Schubert’s Symphony No. 8, D 759, B-minor, “Unfinished,” which was played in December 1921.

Concert tickets may be purchased in advance at Rome Area Council for the Arts, The Music Room, Merry Bee Gallery, Kroger and at the RSO office located at 21 John Maddox Drive, Suite C. Advanced ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $3 for college and other students.

Tickets will also be available at the door on the evening of the performance, $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $6 for students.
