Atlanta Braves pitcher Lance Cormier will start Sunday’s game for the Rome Braves in a rehab assignment. Cormier was placed on the Atlanta disabled list on March 31 with a strained right tricep. This is the second time that Cormier has pitched for the Rome Braves; he played in Rome the beginning of the 2006 season.

The Braves return to State Mutual Stadium on Saturday night to begin an eight game home stand. The Braves take on the Columbus Catfish at 7 p.m. Rome will play Columbus in a four game series followed by Savannah on April 26-29.

Fans can purchase tickets for the upcoming opening home stand at State Mutual Stadium and well as online at RomeBraves.com.
