It’s getting to be a familiar script.

Despite having perfect weather and a big home crowd, the Rome Braves still had trouble in all aspects of the game and lost to Columbus, 7-1.

The Braves got eight hits, but stranded seven runners. They also made two errors, costing them three unearned runs.

Rome is now 3-14 on the season. They will play the second game of a four-game series with the Catfish Sunday at 2 p.m. Lance Cormier will make a rehab start on the mound as he hopes to return to Atlanta in the next couple of weeks
