According to Floyd County Jail records:
John Lester Bowman, 76, of 606 W. 11th St., was charged with felony aggravated assault in violation of the Family Violence Act.
Bowman threw a show at the woman at his home about 6 a.m., causing a minor injury.
Bail was not set for Bowman on Thursday.
