Gary and Jane Neighbors of Rome announce the engagement of their son Todd Neighbors of Louisville, Ky., to Ariana Petty of Louisville, daughter of Linda Petty of Tyler, Texas, and the late William Edward Petty Jr.

Miss Petty is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently seeking her master of arts degree in Missiology. She is employed at Boyce College in Louisville.

The bride-elect is the sister of Alisa Evans of Tyler, and the late Rosann Petty. She is the granddaughter of Lucille Petty Chance of Tyler, the late T.A. and Monta Hornbuckle and the late William Edward Petty Sr.

Neighbors is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently seeking a master of divinity degree. He is employed at Lifeway Christian Book Store in Louisville.

The groom-elect is the brother of the late Brian Keith Neighbors.

He is the grandson of Betty Neighbors of Calhoun, the late A.J. and Jessie Widgeon and the late Charlie Neighbors.

The ceremony is planned for Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.

A reception will follow at the same location. Family and friends are invited to attend.
