Bobbie K. McKenzie II, formerly of Cedartown and Rome, was given the “outstanding Career & Technical Educator Award” for Information Systems Technology in Osceola, Fla., School District.

McKenzie teaches Introduction to Information Technology and Computer Applications at Kissimmee Middle School.

A graduate of Coosa High School, McKenzie is the son of Fire Chief and Mrs. Bobbie K. McKenzie of Rome.

McKenzie lives in Orlando, with his wife, Gayle, and daughter Skye.
