A Cedartown man was arrested Tuesday on charges he failed to properly register with the state sex offender registry, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Anthony James Pardon, 42, of 93 Pott Ash Spur, was charged with felony failure to report to the state sexual offender registry.

Pardon failed to report his change of address to the Floyd County Sheriff within 72 hours of the change, as required by law.

Bail was not set for Pardon on Tuesday.
