Award-winning novelists Kaye Gibbons and Jill McCorkle are among the noted authors scheduled to participate.

The theme of the conference is “Homecomings,” and the schedule features a multitude of events showcasing the unique perspectives and concerns of Southern women writers, past and present.

The event runs Thursday through Saturday.

Registration will be open until the conference opens, as well as on Saturday. Conference organizers are encouraging anyone interested in full-conference or Saturday-only registration to sign up as quickly as possible.
