According to Pfc. Josh Kerce of the Rome Police Department:
Two vehicles were slowing down approaching the stoplight at the intersection when a 2005 Kia Sorento struck them causing the wreck.
Officers cited the driver of the Sorento, Jamie Powell for following too closely.
An unidentified person was taken to Redmond for minor injuries.
As of 1 p.m. the vehicles were removed from the scene and the flow of traffic resumed normally
