A two-vehicle wreck has blocked traffic in both directions on Ga. 101 at the intersection of Rockmart Highway and Old Rockmart Road near Pleasant Valley Hope Church in southern Floyd County.

According to Floyd County police officer Ryan Pratt:

A green Nissan Altima driven by Jonathan Otting of Rockmart was traveling south on Ga. 101 when a bus followed by a white Dodge Dakota driven by Douglas Dover of Cedartown turned left out of Old Rockmart Road heading north on Ga. 101.

The Nissan struck the Dodge Dakota, flipping the truck to the east side of the road.

A small baby who was riding in the Nissan was treated for a head injury at the scene.
