Willis J. Potts, who represents the 11th Congressional District on the University System of Georgia Board of Regents, will be the keynote speaker at Georgia Highlands College’s May 10 graduation.

The 10 a.m. graduation will be held at The Forum in downtown Rome.

Potts, who retired in 2004 as vice president and general manager of Temple-Inland Corp. in Rome, will speak about “The Fourth R,” emphasizing lessons learned outside the classroom.

Potts also is active with the United Way, the Boy Scouts of America, Boys & Girls Clubs and the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce.
