A Summerville man charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer remains in jail without bond, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Brandon Edward Bowie, 24, of 95 Cutusbu Drive in Summerville, was arrested Thursday on a warrant and charged with felony obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers and misdemeanor failure to appear and probation violation.

Bowie reportedly ran from officers at a residence in the 100 block of Rising Fawn Trail on Feb. 25, 2006
