A Summerville man taken into custody by Rome police officers on armed-robbery charges in Virginia was released to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, reports stated.

According to Rome police reports:

While in custody, police found Dewayne Douglass Adams, 49, of 10 Senior St., Summerville, had warrants in Chattooga County and Virginia for armed robbery and held him for extradition
