Four catalytic converters were stolen Saturday from automobiles on a Bale Street lot, Rome police reported.

According to a Rome police report:

The parts, worth $200 each, were taken from a 2003 Oldsmobile Cutlass, a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2004 Ford Ranger. The owner of the vehicles found a pair of wire cutters in the parking lot that were turned over to investigators.
