A Floyd County man facing reckless driving charges was released from jail Saturday on $4,190 bail, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Jason Dale Flynn, 20, of 1 Firetower Road, was arrested by Floyd County police shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday and charged with fleeing police; underage drinking; reckless driving; and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

Reports stated Flynn drove away from a road checkpoint at high speed, wrecked his vehicle and tried to escape on foot
