A Rome woman remained in jail Tuesday without bond on charges of cruelty to children, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Jennifer Nicole Marshall, 23, of 22 Tamassee Lane, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony cruelty to children and misdemeanor battery under the family violence act.

Marshall reportedly struck three children, leaving visible injuries in front of a child.

A criminal warrant was issued and led to her arrest.
