A wreck at the intersection of Redmond Circle and Shorter Avenue, between the Taco Bell and the Wal-Mart sent three to the hospital with injury complaints.

According to pfc. March of the Rome Police Department:

William Hamilton, 56, of Calhoun was turning out of the Sams Club parking lot. Traffic was stopped and another person waived him through traffic. Hamilton pulled out and collided with another vehicle.

Three people in the vehicle complained of various minor injuries and at least one was taken to the hospital for examination.

Hamilton was cited for failure to yield
