Thefts were reported in separate incidents at local restaurants on Thursday.

According to Rome police reports:

An employee of a club on Broad Street reported that someone took her purse from behind the bar while she was working that night. She later found the purse on Tribune Street with several items missing, including a digital camera ($400), a cell phone ($120) and $50 in cash.

A woman at a fast food restaurant on Turner McCall Boulevard discovered her purse was missing Thursday night at the restaurant. The purse contained a wallet that had $700 in cash, several credit cards, a driver’s license and a Social Security card.
