Berry assistant professor to speak about tsunamis

Tamie Jovanelly, an assistant professor of geology at Berry College, will speak about tsunamis at the Tellus Museum in Cartersville at 7 p.m. Jan. 14.

Jovanelly will discuss the causes of tsunamis and the strategies to develop advance warning systems for the Indian Ocean.

The lecture is free for members and included in the cost of museum admission for non-members.
