Centre man arrested after police find suspected meth lab

CENTRE, Ala. — Officers discovered a methamphetamine lab at the home of a Cherokee County man, Sheriff Jeff Shaver reported.

According to reports from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office:

Officers from the Alabama State Probation Office, Cherokee County Narcotics Unit and Sheriff’s Office executed a probation violation warrant at the suspect’s residence and discovered the lab.

Charles Monroe Edward III, 32, of 13905 U.S. 411 N, Centre, was charged with a probation violation and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
