Adairsville chief attends winter police conference

As part of his continuing education and training in the administration of law enforcement, Chief Charles Stafford of the Adairsville Police Department recently attended the 2010 annual Winter Training conference sponsored by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police.

The Winter Training Conference took place in Atlanta and covered a variety of topics such as: Leading the Police Organization in the 21st Century; Building Local, State and Federal Public Safety Partnerships; Terrorism: Initiated or Home Grown?; Hate Crimes — Elements, Impact & Offenders; Leadership Today, Contemporary Issues for Law Enforcement Executives; and Police Chief/City Manager Relationship.

Stafford was among more than 260 heads of law enforcement agencies attending this conference.
