The Oak Hill Symphony Orchestra will be in concert Tuesday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Berry College’s Ford Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. Call 706-236-2289 for more information.

The symphony, consisting of string and wind musicians from Berry and the surrounding community, will present Rossini’s Eduardo e Cristina. The concert will feature the talents of the five winners of the Oak Hill Symphony Concerto Competition.

The soloists are Darby Jones, a student at Georgia Cumberland Academy who studies violin with Mirna Ogrizovic-Ciric; Susanna Brown, a junior music major from LaGrange who studies voice with Harry Musselwhite; Michelle Miller, a senior music education major from Marietta who studies voice with Ruth Baker; Megan Benson, a junior communication major from Stockbridge who studies the piccolo with John Davis; and Lizzie Petrey, a sophomore communication major from Lynchburg, Va., who studies the violin with Ogrizovic-Ciric.

Direction for the Oak Hill Symphony is provided by Norman Bernal and Ogrizovic-Ciric.
