The Rome Braves should be feeling well rested when they arrive at Grayson Stadium tonight in Savannah.

The Braves — who play the Sand Gnats in the opener of a four-game series — have had two consecutive days without having to take the field for a game.

Their scheduled game on Monday at State Mutual Stadium against Asheville was rained out, and then they were idle again on Tuesday during a league-wide off-day. After completing this series in Savannah, the Braves will return home for a four-game homestand that starts with Sunday’s game at 4 p.m. against Charleston.

The Braves went 3-4 on their just-completed homestand. They split a four-game series with Hagerstown, then lost two of three against Asheville in a rain-shortened series.
