Police: Great Harvest Bread Co. break-in under investigation

Rome police detectives are looking into a break-in at Great Harvest Bread Company that occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Monday and around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.

According to Rome police reports:

Police found an unknown suspect pried open the back door of the Broad Street bakery and once inside got into the office and took money from two register drawers after ransacking the office.

Officers also found a practice cash register was damaged.

The report did not list how much money was taken or a suspect.
