The alleged assault victim of Da’Rick Rogers, a Tennessee football player and former Calhoun High star, was “adamant about not prosecuting” the 19-year-old after the incident that occurred on July 9 according to a Knoxville police report.

Rogers, who was last year’s Rome News-Tribune Player of the Year, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after the incident that involved several Tennessee football players at Bar Knoxville last Thursday. Rogers’ lawyers released a statement that claimed he was not involved in any fight during the incident.
