The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an off duty Emerson Police officer in connection with a domestic dispute, according to a press release.

According to the BCSO press release:

Investigators charged off duty officer Coleman Todd Heath with misdemeanor false report of a crime and stalking under the Family Violence Act.

According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, BCSO deputies responded to 70 Red Top Mountain Circle in response to Coleman Heath reporting that his estranged wife, was trespassing.

Heath attempted to have Keisha Heath arrested for Aggravated Stalking under the Family Violence Act, producing a court order that declared neither party contact the other. However, the investigation revealed that Coleman had voluntarily moved out of the residence a few weeks prior to this incident and that his estranged wife was currently living in the residence with children.

Investigators say Coleman returned to the residence wanting to move back in and have Keisha removed stating that the residence was his.

Coleman was arrested and is currently out of jail on a $3,500 bond.
