The woman driving the all-terrain vehicle in a fatal wreck Sunday is suspected of driving drunk, according to reports.

Tiffany Dawn Greer, 28, of Cedartown, is charged with DUI by alcohol, homicide by vehicle, driving an off-road vehicle on a roadway and too fast for conditions, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Greer was arrested Monday and has since been released on a property bond, according to jail reports.

The accident on Garmon Road killed Emily Clackum, 13, of Cedartown.

Officials said Clackum was flown to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, but died from her injuries late Sunday night.

GSP reports said Clackum was a passenger on the ATV while Greer was driving. The two were traveling north on Garmon Road in the Akes Station Road area south of Cedartown around 7:30 p.m. when Greer lost control in a curve.

The ATV struck a ditch and ejected both Greer and Clackum.

Greer was taken to Floyd Medical Center where she was treated and released.
