Berry golf: Vikings win Bluegrass Fall Classic

Chadd Reynolds shot 73 for the second day in a row to lead Berry's men's golf team to a tournament victory at the Bluegrass Fall Classic at Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown, Ky., Thursday.

The Vikings shot 305 Thursday, giving them a 36-hole score of 612. Reynolds finished second in the overall individual standings with his 146 score. Jose Garcia fired a 76 Thursday to finish at 153, wihle Alex Elmore shot 79 and finished at 156 overall. Jason Terranova was the fourth member of the Vikings' "A" squad to shoot in the 70s Thursday, following his 82 from Wednesday with a 77 in the final round. Ryan Gambrell shot 80 for the second consecutive day to finish at 160.

Berry's "B" team shot 319 Thursday to finish at 629. Alex Irvin led that squad with a 36-hole score of 148 after following Wednesday's 73 with a 75 in the second round. Tim Kim finished at 75-82-157, just two strokes ahead of teammate John Hall, who finished at 79-80-159. Jared Hall shot 82 Thursday, one stroke better than his previous round, to finish at 165 overall and Dima White shot 85-90-175 to round out Berry's scores.

Berry is scheduled to return to action Sept. 20 at the Rhodes Fall classic in Tunica, Miss.
